Our basic service, i.e. acting as your agent,
is free. We receive our commission as a referral fee from the
seller's agent on concluding a sale agreement between you and
their client.
This, however, is only possible if we contact the seller's
agents on your behalf. For us to do so, it is important that
you appoint us your agent.
If you have already viewed properties and need help making
an offer, we will inspect the property, offer you our professional
opinion of it and help you submit an offer. Our standard fee
for this service is ZAR1,500.
Sometimes, clients express interest in properties not on the
market. In such cases, we approach the owner and, where possible,
negotiate a sale agreement.
Following accepted South African practice, we ask for a commission
from the seller. The standard commission ranges from five to
7.5 percent of the purchase price.
